CLEBURNE -- Irene Streun, 99, a homemaker, went to be with the LORD,
Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th
Avenue, Mineral Wells. Dennis Moore will officiate. Burial:
Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.
Irene was born Aug. 15, 1910, to Frank Welsey and Sarah Massey
Walker. She married Steve Frank Streun on Aug. 8, 1928.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Streun; and
children, Frances McKinney, Russell Streun, John Streun, and James
Streun.
Survivors: Daughters, Ruth Wallace of Dallas and Mary Kirk of
Houston; sons, Joe Streun and wife, Fran, of Burnet, Charles Streun
and wife, Geree, of Dallas, Mack Streun and wife, Dorcas, of
Cleveland, Tenn., Sam Streun and wife, Beverly, of Mineral Wells,
Don Streun and wife, Judy, of Glen Rose; daughters-in-law, Hazel
Streun of Puyallup, Wash., Sue Streun of Midland; son-in-law, James
McKinney of Midland; 31 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and
36 great-great-grandchildren.
