Betty "NeNe" Ray, 75, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Fort Worth.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memory Gardens of the Valley.
Betty was born April 20, 1934 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Luther and Mildred Hammer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Betty was happiest when surrounded by her loving family. She was a cancer survivor and fought COPD for twenty years.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arbor Society.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Geraldine and Virginia.
Survivors: son, Wayne Ray and wife, Dana of Bryant, Ark.; daughters, Angela Harvey of Weatherford, Tanya Wells and husband, David of Corpus Christi; and extended daughter, Cindy Santi of Weatherford; grandsons, Charles Trevor Harvey, Wade Travis Harvey, Kevin Douglas Ray, and David Jason Wells; granddaughters Kimberly Renee Anable, Catherine Elizabeth Beard, Sumer Ray, and Ashley Renee Kelley; sisters, Linda Parker of Conway, Ark., Norma Clendenin of Conway, Ark. and Joyce Haynes of Hope, Ark.; and Brother, Allen Victory of Vilonia, Ark.
