J. L. "Red" Teal, Jr., 74, beloved husband, father and PawPaw, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 3rd at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main Street, Springtown
Interment: Aurora Cemetery
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home
Red was born October 21, 1935 to Jesse Lee and Opal Drain Teal in Fort Worth. He was a longtime resident of Parker County.
Red was an avid race horse breeder and trainer. He was also a retired truck driver for ICX Motor Freight. Red was an endowed member of the Joplin Masonic Lodge 939.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one grandson.
Survivors: Wife of 57 years, Evelyn Teal of Weatherford; son, Sammy Teal and wife, Donna; daughter, Ann Eustace and husband, Fred; son, Richard Teal and wife, Dana; and daughter, Lisa White all of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; many friends and acquaintances.
